The Onyx© program
is a one-of-a-kind program only available through Kū Aloha Ola Mau. The Onyx© helps breaks the cycle of drug use! Much like the onyx gemstone, the power of the Onyx© is fueled through the continual change and interaction of different Onyx members and counselors, a band of variations producing almost every color possible. There are no levels, and no tiers. Individuals shift through the Onyx© in various directions; it is a natural flow dependent on each person’s individual needs at that time. So, no matter what condition you are dealing with, please, come join us and experience the power of the Onyx!©
The Onyx is open to ALL haumana at Ku Aloha Ola Mau, regardless of medication treatment program.
The Onyx offers our haumana (students of life) the freedom to choose the days and times which best fits their individual lifestyle. Small groups meet for about 20 minutes where haumana simply “talk story.” The Onyx groups range from two to ten people.
The combination and interaction of haumana, their unique spirit, in conjunction with the guidance from highly trained and experienced counselors, produce a unique and powerful union of thought. Each Onyx group is different-no homework or assignments. The Onyx stimulates a magical union of spirit, a change in perception and thinking.
Most haumana describe the Onyx program as creating a feeling like they belong to their community, an appreciation of self, forging a positive, forward-thinking mind-set that progressively replaces the need and desire to use drugs.
